When you enter Kristkindl Village, you will be welcomed by one of our Greeters, Always with a pleasant smile and warm welcome, you will be given a Passport to our event which has a map, menu, entertainment schedule and info about the event.
BIER GARTEN
As you wander through the streets of Kristkindl Village, you will be tempted by the delicious aroma of the tasty food we serve in the food line. Grab a delicious meal and head into our own Bier Garten. Fashioned like an authentic German Bier Garten, our social hall is transformed with decor and live entertainment that will play your favorite holiday carols and polkas to whisk you into a true German holiday mood. We offer German style beer and Gluhvein (Mulled Spiced Wine) to go with your meal. Sit back and enjoy the food and atmosphere. If you feel like dancing, there's a space up front near the stage to show your polka skills!
GINGERBREAD HOUSE DECORATING
(ALL proceeds go to Operation Breakthrough)
One of the most popular parts of Kristkindl Markt is the Gingerbread House Decorating Room. Here children of all ages are supplied with the house frames, candy, and frosting to decorate an actually assembled Gingerbread House! You supply your imagination to create a masterpiece (or just nibble on a few candies- we don’t judge)! There is no time or imagination limit to create some awesome houses made at Kristkindl Markt. It’s free to join in the fun, but if please consider making a donation, all proceeds go to KC’s Operation Breakthrough, helping to make the holiday season magical for all children!
BÄKEREI (BAKERY)
At the Bäkerei, we sell our famous "cookies by the pound." Select your own assortment of cookies from our vast selection of authentic, homemade, made from scratch cookies. We'll weigh them and you may purchase the amount in quarters of a pound increments. We also have other sweet treats that may be purchased in this room. You can't go wrong on anything on the table you point your finger at. Our biggest competition are the Girl Scouts and their cookies aren't made from scratch!
CHRISTMAS DECORATION FLEA MARKET
Fast becoming a ‘Must Visit’ part of this event, the Christmas Decoration Flea Market at Kristkindl Markt has become a favorite place for our guests to visit. The items are not marked so the pick our your treasure and offer a fair price for the merchandise. You'll never know what treasures may be found at this location, but everyone is a winner with a decoration bought at this part of our event. All items are one of a kind purchases (unless you have a matching item at home). It’s a great place to find a replacement decoration for a broken one at home, or an ornament from your youth.
WEIHNACHTSMANN (FATHER CHRISTMAS)
Our Father Christmas roams the event wishing all a Merry Christmas. Father Christmas may hand out candy canes to the children (of all ages) at the event. Be prepared Father Christmas enjoys being photographed with you, your family and friends!
COMMUNITY VENDORS
One of the most exciting parts of Kristkindl Markt is our selection Vendors. These are artisans and crafters that select our holiday event as part of their sales events for their year. Shop 'til you drop at the three vendor rooms and meet the many vendors with selections of holiday and other gift ideas for your friends and family. Purchase something special for yourself. Some or our vendors return every year while others may be appearing for the first time. They appreciate your stopping and admiring their booths and will gladly help you find the perfect gift for that difficult someone on your list.
